All academy members are responsible for securing themselves to cover all costs of their stay, such as travel expenses to/from Ostrava, accommodation for the whole period of stay, per diems, insurance, concert clothing, etc. &#13;

Trainees will gain hands-on orchestral experience in one of the leading Czech orchestras, taking part in most of the orchestra performances (subscription concerts, touring projects both locally and internationally). Trainees shall receive mentoring by the principal players of the orchestra.&#13;

This 6-day programme is our first collaborative partnership with Guildhall Young Artists, the junior division of the renowned Guildhall School of Music &amp; Drama. We invite young woodwinds, brass, and percussion musicians worldwide to join. Participants will develop their artistry in a supportive, high-energy environment shaped by world-class training.  &#13;

Our programme offers wind orchestra and chamber music experiences, complemented by technique and sectional classes. The programme combines orchestral work with intercultural exchange, including full rehearsals, sectional coaching, and three public concerts in Luxembourg, Saarbrücken, and Sankt Vith.&#13;

Participation is subject to a selection process. Applicants must submit two contrasting video recordings by email to euywo@ugda.lu&#13;
 by 15 April 2026. Selection is based on artistic needs and orchestral balance.&#13;
