Information about LSO&#13;
- With a budget of $1.3M, LSO presents a season between September-May consisting of 7 classical concerts (6 full orchestra plus one chamber orchestra), 2 family concerts, and 2 pops concerts, in addition to a wide range of educational activities.&#13;
- LSO musicians are governed by a Collective Bargaining Agreement with the Lincoln Musicians' Association Local No. 463, American of Federation of Musicians.&#13;
- Principal Timpani is an "A Contract" position, with 46 guaranteed services per season. &#13;
- The principal per-service rate for the current season is $148.96. Travel reimbursement for players who reside outside of Lancaster County is $0.35 per mile, Players who reside farther away are negotiated on an individual basis (max $250/concert).&#13;
- LSO does not provide lodging assistance for out-of-town musicians.&#13;
&#13;
Notes about the Principal Timpani Position&#13;
LSO's concert timpani will be provided: Clevelander timpani with Dresden pedals, American set-up.&#13;

The LSO Conservatoire Scholarships programme is a ground-breaking initiative that aims to ensure that musicians from all backgrounds have access to conservatoire training and reduce barriers to entering the profession.&#13;

These Scholarships of up to £16,000 per academic year will allow recipients to focus fully on their studies during a critical time in their education, whilst benefiting from additional support and mentoring from the LSO’s own renowned musicians.&#13;

A key feature of the programme is the close collaboration with principal players from top international orchestras, who work intensively with the young musicians throughout the week under the direction of Daniel Geiss, while also performing as part of the orchestra. This unique setting enables participants to learn orchestral interaction directly from experienced professionals and to build both musical and personal connections with musicians from world-class orchestras.&#13;

·         The Singing and Performance Course&#13;

Students will experience singing, musicianship and ensemble music-playing, with performances at our professional concert venue, Stoller Hall. After the music stops each evening, stay in our purpose-built boarding facilities, with plenty of fun activities, games, and shared experiences with Chetham’s caring team of staff.&#13;
