Eastman Model full-size, made in Beijing, China, No. B146, built October 1999, with a beautiful tone. Good steel strings, student bow, winter and summer bridges, and a soft case. Originally purchased from Johnson Strings (a.k.a., Carriage House Violins). Recently repaired by Carriage House Violins (including new G & C strings). Below is the assessment of this cello by Mr. Ron Lowry, 1st Cello, Boston Pops Orchestra and BSO:

“The Eastman cello is in excellent condition and has a very full, even and brilliant sound. I helped oversee the recent maintenance and tonal adjustments and think it is an excellent bargain for an aspiring student or professional who needs a second instrument."

Ronald Lowry, Principal Cellist, Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra and Boston Ballet Orchestra
