Price: 6000

Up for sale, a fine violin by french maker Amedee Dieudonne, 1938. The condition is mint: a few scuffs and scratches. No cracks whatsoever. It's a full size. It has been in my family for a long time.

It comes with a professional carbon fiber case by BAM and a decent, antique bow as well as the original certificate from the maker.

The certificate states: I undersign, A. Dieudonne Fils, Luthier d'art in Mirecourt, certifies that the violin bearing the number no. 506, year 1938 was entirely crafted by hand by me after a model of Antonio Stradivari the 'Alard'. I guarantee it's tonal qualities and the durability of its varnish.

Characteristics of the instrument. Back: 2 pieces, maple from Hungary, ??deep flames. Top: 2 pieces, spruce from Switzerland. Neck: maple from Hungary.

I recommend this violin to anyone but especially to an advanced student or an aspiring professional.

The price is half of what you would find in a dealer shop!
