Beautiful double bass made by Sergio Scaramelli, model "Majestic", flat back made of old maple, figured maple neck, spruce top, built in 2016.
The bass is suitable as an orchestral instrument as well as a solo bass, and also works excellently as a jazz bass. Currently strung with Thomastik Belcanto orchestral strings.
The bass has been perfectly set up by Jan Finn Bacher, has an adjustable bridge with Moser adjusters, an adjustable soundpost by Anima Nova, a Bender pin and a tailpiece by Gerold Genssler.
Measurements:
playable string length: 104cm, D neck.
upper bout 48cm, middle bout 36 cm, lower bout 67cm
rib at upper bout 19,5cm, rib at lower bout 21cm
Can be tested in Munich/Germany. No shipping.
