Howarth S45c oboe in excellent condition.
2007 model, thick walled instrument with a beautiful deep tone.
Left Hand F
Low Bb (with vent)
Triple Octave (3rd octave key)
Articulated C#
“Banana” D-C Trill
Right Hand A-G# Trill
Regularly serviced by Howarths, last service in November 2020, little played since lockdown. Recently oiled and checked.
One repair in its lifetime to the bell tenon (see picture) which had a hairline crack and refitting of tenon lining and by Howarths.
Keywork in superb condition. Moving well and plating still perfect.
A very well-regarded instrument in high demand for advancing students and semi-professional musicians.
