In the bag there was a torn hanky swab, two straps (one that goes around the chest), a box with reeds, a little screw driver and a bunch of coffee filters.
Description and Notable features
It's a brushed Selmer Series III tenor saxophone and it's almost 15 years old. Aesthetically it's not in good shape. It has quite some dust lying around, and some parts suffer from rust and green verdigris (especially the lower F-key). The neck has some rust spots on the lower side. The bell has a few smaller bumps on top where folds out. It sounds great though and is pretty tight, although some pads are a bit worn. The mouthpiece is a hard rubber Meyer that's pretty worn in the sense of a greyish color change outside on the sides and light brownish inside. It has a protector in form of a plastic pad place where the teeth bite. It was in a black and blueish/purple worn soft bag, as old as the horn, of which the zipper broke long time ago, so it has been closed by the use of big rubber bands of the kind you use for bicycles. The bag is shaped as a box, so not one of those that are shaped like the horn.

Pickup was Damac Maison apartment, downtown Dubai (mall street). Huge sentimental value, reward offered.

I had both of my Selmer Mark VI saxophones stolen from my house in Tempe, Arizona on April 5/6, 2013. The alto has a serial number of 240297 and was in a black tri-pack case with a black vinyl cover. The soprano is a straight soprano and has a serial number of 267173 and was also in a black case. Both saxophones were in excellent condition although they needed some new corks, pads, etc. I'm offering a $100 reward for each saxophone - please help me find them!

The alto was stolen along with a soprano (also Selmer Paris Series III) and an MSI GT-680 laptop, a handbag, and an iPad.
Description and Notable features
The alto is in a Hiscox case which has fading stickers on it, and it has a few distinguishing quirks: the neck is chipped and is bronze-y where it joins, having been welded; the D sharp guard is slightly squashed; the varnish is worn from years of playing and has been filled in, in places, with orange (??? some bizarre repair job). In the case there is a Meyer 6 mouthpiece and a Selmer D-star mouthpiece, with a leather ligature. There are, if still there, numerous Melbourne Youth Music tags with the name Elana de Gleria Clark on them, a silk pull through, and a neck strap.
