Piano Faculty - Teacher

Job Responsibilities:
• Teach applied lessons to Masters-level pianists
• Coach chamber music in the Masters program
• Teach piano lessons and coach chamber music in the Pre-College
• Teach in a secondary area as qualified
• Actively recruit students
• Perform with colleagues as part of the TJS resident faculty ensemble

• Fluency in English (the graduate program at TJS will be accredited by the U.S. Middle States Commission on Higher Education, therefore all courses will be taught in English)
• Experience performing in professional chamber ensembles
• Collegiate teaching experience preferred
• Performer of highest international caliber
• Knowledge or interest in Chinese culture and open to the adventure of starting Juilliard’s first branch campus
• Entrepreneurial minded and comfortable with the uncertainties associated with a new venture
