Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance

Teaching Staff (Music) - Popular Music Voice Teacher

We are looking to appoint an exceptional and versatile singing teacher in popular music to inspire, nurture and train our vocal students on the BA Music Performance and Industry.

Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance is a forward-thinking world-class Higher Institution with a vision to redefine the Conservatoire for the 21st century. At the leading edge of music and dance training, we provide specialist education of the highest quality, which reflects the increasingly collaborative world of artistic practice and supports the lifelong career development of professional artists. The BA Music Performance and Industry is a new three-year undergraduate programme in popular music that complements a wide range of study across the Faculty of Music.

As a singing teacher, your job will be to teach students individually and occasionally in groups. You will carefully nurture their vocal technique and musicianship as they grow over a period of time into a professional musician. We believe that students should always find ways to apply their advancing musical skills and technique to create an individual voice, informed by an open-minded and critical approach to all music. We care about our students’ vocal and mental health so good practice in the careful development of well-being are of high importance.

The post holder will ideally be an outstanding singer and perceptive teacher able to teach voice across genres and share a love for music. You will be joining a growing team of world-class creative musicians, and as such, are role models for our students.
