It will be the 10th edition of the competition. Registration until January 8, 2017. For details see our website www.soloist.eu. The processing fee is €50 Euro. Your contribution to the total cost of any concert is €3600 Euro.

Young Classical Virtuosos of Tomorrow
The "Young Classical Virtuosos of Tomorrow" national competition in memory of its founder, Nelly Berman is open to students ages 7-25 in piano, strings, winds, brass, voice and chamber music. There will be over $10,000 in prizes, two rounds of competition, and concerts at the Kimmel Center, West Chester University and more. Application deadline is December 19th, 2016. Andrejs Jurjāns VI International Brass Competition
The VI International Jurjānu Andrejs Brass Competition will take place in Riga, Latvia, on March 10-17, 2017. The first Jurjānu Andrejs competition took place in 1981 and honoured the 125th anniversary of the founder of the Latvian professional music, composer, organist and French horn player. Competition is open to all Trumpet, Trombone, Horn, Tuba and Euphonium players born after March 10, 1987. Renowned international jury, cash prizes, special prizes from Yamaha and Buffet Group. Participants of the 3rd round will perform with the Professional Symphonic Band “Riga”.

Harriet Hale Woolley Scholarship
The Fondation des Etats-Unis is currently accepting applications for its annual Harriet Hale Woolley Scholarship. Eligible candidates are graduate and post-graduate musicians (composition, instrumental or vocal performance) of exceptional talent who wish to pursue advanced artistic studies in Paris, France during the upcoming academic year. The scholarship is not intended for research in musicology. The deadline for all application materials is January 31st of the current academic year.
