First Competition for Choir Conductors "Krikor Chetinyan"

Young conductors born between 1985 and 2005 are invited to take part in the competition, organized by the Acadmy of music, dance and fine arts of Plovdiv and The Conducting lab "Krikot Chetinyan" - Plovdiv.
The competition is held in three rounds and conductors will have the opportunity to show their skills on three elite choirs from Plovdiv.
The competition will take place between 23-25 October 2025 and the three winners will be awarded with diplomas and monetary prizes.
A jury of distinguished conductors, headed by renowned conductor Frieder Bernius(Germany), will evaluate the 12 candidates admitted to the first round.
