Piano Duo Intensive: Rachmaninoff, Debussy, Mozart, Milhaud

This 4-day Piano Duet Intensive is designed to enhance your experience of playing in a piano duet. Taught by our faculty and alumnus, Konstantin Soukhovetski, who has over 17 international awards and has performed in piano duets for over two decades, including double piano concerti with the orchestra. In this course, Konstantin will share his insight into technical execution as well as his unique, acting-derived approach to interpretation, Narrative Musicianship.

The 4 duets (8 students) will receive one-on-one coaching as well as group lecture. The 4-day intensive will culminate in a performance. The repertory choices: Rachmaninoff Piano Suite #1, Debussy Prélude á l’apres-midi d’un Faune, Mozart Two Piano Sonata K. 448 in D, Milhaud Scaramouche.
