French Horn

As a Marine Corps Musician, you’ll have the opportunity to serve with one of the 10 renowned Marine Corps bands performing throughout the United States and internationally—from New York to Sydney to Paris—serving as a musical ambassador playing the French Horn. Roles within the bands also include Bandmasters, Small Ensemble Leaders, Enlisted Conductors, Drum Majors, and Instrument Repair Technicians.

Qualifications:
-Pass a musical audition performing musical excerpts.
-Pass a physical examination, as well as mental and moral screening.
-Graduate Marine Corps recruit training followed by the Naval School of Music where you will study before playing for one of the field bands.
