The Royal Danish Theatre is holding a temporary contract audition for the Royal Danish Orchestra
(Vollzeit, befristete Arbeitsstelle)
The Royal Danish Theatre is auditioning for a temporary 2nd Trombone position with the Royal Danish Orchestra for the 2026–2027 season.
The audition includes a video round (deadline: April 6, 2026) and a live section round on May 9, 2026 in Copenhagen. Required video repertoire includes David’s Concertino (1st movement, no cadenza) and selected orchestral excerpts. The solo and excerpts may be submitted as two separate videos.
Applications must include a CV and video. The contract begins in August 2026. For applicants outside the EU countries, it is a precondition that the applicant has arranged for work and residence permits in Denmark at the time of employment. Applicants of all backgrounds are welcome.
