Heckel #7498

This bassoon was delivered in 1933 to a bassoonist in Dresden H.Rupe. It underwent a complete, meticulous, restoration by a most renowned and legendary bassoon technician Frank Marcus, in Canada, and the restoration was completed in 2023. As it didn't have any original lacquer remaining, it's been re-laquered, mechanically updated & upgraded, silver plated and, furthermore, a new GAVA instrument-case with canvas case-cover has been purchased. The instrument has been re-registered & re-stamped at the Heckel GmbH. The bassoon has a beautiful warm and dark sound, great projection and impeccable intonation. It will NOT require any maintenance for years to come! It is available for trying in Barcelona, Spain.
