I am a viola player at the London Symphony Orchestra and I am selling my wonderful viola, which I have been playing for the past few years.
This is a very playable instrument, with a very comfortable stopping and a warm and powerful sound (on the darker side of violas’ sound spectrum, I think!) I have played as a soloist, chamber musician and in the orchestra and it has never let me down!
The viola has no cracks or flaws. I recently had it checked and the varnish protected as it was slightly wearing off from being played.
The vibrating string length is around 37,5cm.
I also have a Roger Doe viola bow and a new case that I could sell with it.
I could send a video of me playing it.
I am based in London (and Portugal) and you are very welcome to try this beautiful instrument.
