Muramatsu SR Handmade Silver Flute

I am selling my beloved Muramatsu SR flute — a fully handmade solid silver flute with soldered tone holes, offset G, split E, and B-foot. It comes with the original headjoint and case. Current retail price: £15,000.
A complete overhaul (all new pads and full regulation) was carried out in June 2025, and the flute has been rarely played since. Proof is available upon request.
This flute is renowned for the sweet, beautiful Muramatsu sound — warm, rich, and refined. Thanks to its soldered tone holes, projection is never an issue, even in large concert halls. Its tonal palette is vast, allowing exploration of new colours.
This instrument accompanied me through my Bachelor, Masters, and Artist Diploma studies, as well as the first 9 years of my professional career. It holds great sentimental value and is a top-notch, inspiring flute. I have recently changed to a gold flute and hope this SR will go to someone who will love it as much as I have.
