Double Bass:
3/4 Size, Belgian Made, 20 Years Old.

Beautiful viola shaped, 3/4 size double bass made in Belgium.
I have performed professionally with this instrument for 20 years and has been maintained by luthier Laurence Dixon for all of it's time in my possession.
This bass has been featured on many recordings, most notably Zara McFarlane's 'Arise' and 'If You Knew Her' and was the bass I used for performances at the Barbican, Queen Elizabeth Hall and Ronnie Scott's.
The scroll has had a minor repair but this had no impact on the sound whatsoever.
The bass comes with a maroon Mooradian bass case and Pirastro Evah Pirazzi strings.
