II. Job Description

1. Undertaking regular teaching duties for undergraduate and graduate students majoring in Conducting in the Composition and Conducting Division, in accordance with the approved curriculum and syllabi;

2. Providing guidance for students’ orchestral and opera practice in line with teaching needs;

3. Assisting with rehearsals and performances for selected orchestra-related courses according to teaching arrangements.

III. Qualification Requirements

1. A master’s degree or above in Conducting;

2. Prior teaching experience in conducting at a professional conservatory or school of music is preferred;

3. Sufficient professional experience in orchestral conducting, with the ability to guide students’ orchestral practice and lead rehearsals and performances of the School’s orchestra;

4. Strong teaching and communication skills, good professional ethics, and strong Chinese and English speaking, writing, and reading abilities；

5. A strong sense of responsibility, patience, and care for students, with a commitment to supporting their growth and development.
