Insula orchestra is recruiting a Programming Delegate for its “Insula Guests”

Insula orchestra Organization :
Under the artistic and musical direction of Laurence Equilbey, Insula orchestra is hiring a Programming and Development Delegate for its “Insula Guests” Season.

Missions :
Under the responsibility of the Deputy General Director and the Artistic and Musical Director, the Programming Delegate’s main mission is to lead and develop the programming for the “Insula Guests” Season.
In this capacity, the Programming Delegate will:
• Propose and implement the programming of the “Insula Guests” Season: international symphonic orchestras, baroque ensembles, international and emerging instrumental soloists, family/youth projects, and concerts in public spaces.
• Be in charge of initial contacts, program discussions, negotiating terms, scheduling, and budgetary and technical planning (in coordination with the Production Director), as well as letters of engagement or pre-contracts.
• Welcome guest artists in coordination with the Production Manager and ensure that all agreements are honored throughout and after the events.
• Participate in programming committees of both Insula orchestra and La Seine Musicale to design the artistic season in collaboration with Insula orchestra, the Département des Hauts-de-Seine, and the private management group operating La Seine Musicale.
• Seek co-producers and national/international partners to help fund projects, in collaboration with the Deputy General Director.
• Work closely with the Head of Cultural Outreach to build mediation programs connected to the artistic programming of the “Insula Guests” Season
• Collaborate closely with the Communications and Marketing Delegate and the Audience Development Officer to guide audience targeting for each event.
