BUDAPEST PRIZE - International Composition Competition

The first edition of the International Composition Competition “BUDAPEST PRIZE” is
a competition open to composers of all nationalities with no age limit.
ELIMINATORY:
Participants should submit the score of an existing or newly created composition for solo or chamber instrument.
No specific chamber ensembles, all scores written for ensembles from duo to decimino will be accepted.
Published or previously performed scores are allowed
Scores are not required to be anonymous
FINAL ROUND:
composers selected for the final round must write a new composition for one of the following ensembles of the candidate’s choice:
– Solo Instrument
– Duo
– Trio
– Quartet
– quintet
Among the following instruments:
– Piano
– Clarinet
– Violin
– Cello
– Piano
Duration should NOT exceed 10 minutes
On October 12, in Budapest, there will be an awards evening in the form of a concert where the top ten will be performed and the names of the winners will be announced.
