"Ink Still Wet" Composer-Conductor Workshop 2026

CALL FOR COMPOSITIONS · OLGA NEUWIRTH
Create a new orchestral work and premiere it yourself as a conductor with the Tonkünstler Orchestra under the guidance of Olga Neuwirth, Composer in Residence of the Grafenegg Festival 2026.
Two phases take your piece from workshop to premiere:
· 21 to 24 April in Grafenegg and Vienna
· 14 to 22 August in Grafenegg during the Festival
· Public concert on 21 August in the Auditorium Grafenegg
Participation is fully funded. This includes:
· accommodation
· international travel reimbursement (plane and train tickets, etc.)
· local transfers
· subsistence costs
· concert tickets for the Grafenegg Festival
NO application or participation fee.
Who can apply: composers and composition students from any country. No age limit. Course language: English. Up to five places.
