HICMF Ontario Call for Scores

We at Hamilton International Contemporary Festival invite you to submit your ensemble works to our second call for scores. We are committed to programming international composers in Hamilton, Canada. We will perform and record the selected works on a concert with our ensemble in Hamilton, Ontario in April 2026. Our call is open to composers anywhere in the world, in any stage of their career, and open to any aesthetic or approach to contemporary music. 5 compositions will be selected this time.
Guidelines:
Your piece must consist of at least 5 instruments from our ensemble. Any submissions with instruments not listed or less than 5 instruments in total will be disqualified.
We currently cannot accept any pieces with electronics. Your submission must be 6-12 minutes in duration. Applicants may submit one work for each entry fee. Applicants should not remove their name or information from their score.
