Piano Plus: The Richard Goula Chamber Music Competition

A unique international competition for piano-inclusive chamber ensembles, celebrating artistry, collaboration, and career-building opportunities for emerging musicians.
Open to instrumental ensembles of 2–5 musicians including piano, all 27 or younger as of February 28, 2027
Three-stage jury process: online video preliminary, live semifinal (8–10 ensembles performing 24-30 minutes), and public final concert (3 ensembles performing 35-40 minutes)
Ensembles will receive judged feedback for all competition rounds.
Cash prizes: $7,500 First Prize, $5,000 Second Prize, $2,500 Third Prize
First Prize ensemble receives a featured performance engagement in AcA’s 2028 season as well as other regional performance opportunities
