Masterclasses at Prof. Jiri Hlinka Piano Academy, May 2026

The Jiri Hlinka Piano Academy is pleased to invite pianists to masterclasses 24–27 May 2026 at Rasmussen Samlingene in Bergen, Norway. The programme will conclude with a concert on 28 May at the University Aula as part of the Bergen International Festival.

About:
The classes are open to students and young established pianists at the highest level.
Repertoire:
The masterclasses will focus on works by György Kurtág and Olivier Messiaen, though students may also select pieces by other composers. The closing concert will feature works by Kurtág and Messiaen.
Each participant will receive four individual lessons, one with each professor, all open to the public.
The programme is limited to seven participants.
Accommodation and meals are provided 23–29 May at Rasmussen Samlingene.
