The Opera Studio – Masterclasses, part of the prestigious Festival 4 Arts, offers performers an exceptional opportunity for professional growth through a fully staged production of Der Freischütz by C.M. von Weber.
Under the musical direction of Adrian Suciu, this edition presents a bold contemporary vision, reimagining the dramatic conflict in a modern context while preserving Weber’s original score. The opera will be performed in German, with spoken dialogue in Romanian to ensure a strong connection with audiences.
Participants will work with experienced professionals, receiving vocal coaching, foreign language diction training, interpretative development, stage movement sessions, and full production rehearsals including lighting, and staging.
