Franconian Cello Academy

The Franconian Cello Academy (FCA) offers intense instrumental and musical training in the heart of one of Europe’s historically rich cities. Advanced students and young professionals have the opportunity to participate in regular master-classes, private lessons and cello ensemble activity, culminating in public performances. Wether you’re looking to develop your level of instrumental skill, interpretative and performance abilities and/or preparing for competitions or auditions, there are resources here to help you reach your goals.

Based in the heart of Nuremberg’s old city, the Academy finds itself housed in the Egedienkirche, a beautiful example of German Baroque Architecture. Situated in a prime central location, participants will have the opportunity to discover some of the cultural life, historical significance and charm of Nuremberg, a city once referred to as the “German jewel of the Holy Roman Empire”.
