Liverpool Flute Academy

Liverpool Flute Academy offers opportunities for flute players to study, perform, socialise and be inspired. We are running two parallel courses led by the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic flute section Cormac Henry, Helen Wilson and Sameeta Gahir as well as guest tutor, Eliza Marshall multi-genre flautist and world flute specialist.

The Orchestral Intensive Course aims to develop the skill set and gain practical advice to become professional orchestral musicians. We will be covering an in depth study of the orchestral repertoire with classes on flute and piccolo excerpts, ensemble playing, Mozart concertos, audition preparation, CV building and more.

Our Versatile Performer Course offers attendees a truly varied schedule of classes including warm ups, solo flute masterclasses, piccolo classes, orchestral excerpts, ensemble playing, contemporary techniques, improvisation and creative sessions as well as classes tackling audition and exam techniques and more!
