Call for Vocal Ensemble | Full Time Hybrid / Casual Positions

KorMalta-Malta National Choir is seeking full-time and casual ensemble members to join its hybrid vocal ensemble. These exciting roles blend performance with broader musical and administrative work in areas such as touring, education, community engagement, and more.

FULL-TIME HYBRID POSITION
We are seeking to engage five (5 - SSATB) choir members on a full-time hybrid basis -. This position combines daily vocal performance with dedicated responsibilities across selected strategic areas of the organisation. Each selected candidate will form part of KorMalta’s Ensemble as a professional singer on full-time flexible hours, actively participating in daily rehearsals, concerts, vocal development sessions, and the artistic life of the choir. In addition to their musical duties, each member will lead or contribute to the development of the choir, becoming a key figure
in shaping KorMalta’s institutional and artistic future. Such hybrid roles may include (but are not limited to) research and development, education and outreach, community projects, artistic research and co-ordination, internationalisation.

CASUAL POSITION
We are seeking to engage seven (7) choir members to form part of the KorMalta Ensemble on a casual basis, to support and supplement the full-time ensemble. In this role you will be regularly performing and rehearsing a vast repertoire. The chosen choristers will be participating in a maximum of 10 rehearsals and 1 performance
per month, in select concerts and collaborations, together with the full-time hybrid cohort. They may on occasions be joined by other choristers to form an even bigger choir for large-scale performances.
