Opera Chorus Bass

The audition takes place in two rounds:
For the 1st round, we expect a CV with an overview of your musical activities and a video recording of two pieces in different languages and styles, one of which must be an opera aria.

Candidates who reach the 2nd round will be invited to a live audition, which consists of three parts:

1) Performance of the pieces submitted in the video round
2) Parts from:

• Puccini “Turandot”: Act II “Gravi, enormi…pp. 211-212” / “Ha vinto, Principessa” pp. 271-273 / Finale pp. 382-384 (Ricordi)
• Verdi “Requiem”: Libera me, Fugue pp. 131-140 (Peters)
• Purcell “King Arthur”: “To Woden's Hall” pp. 27-30 (Novello)

3) Prima Vista
The audition is followed by a test oof vocal range and an interview.
