Johann Stübiger made in Viena in 1897

Amazing 4/4 double bass made in Viena by Austrian maker Johann Stübiger in 1897, in very good condition. Very even tone all over the fingerboard and very easy to play. Amazing mellow but full bodied sound. I have owned it for 18 years. Maker’s original label inside. The double bass is currently based in London.

Certification: It has inside the original label of the maker. I bought it in 2008 to Italian luthier Sergio Scaramelli and can produce his invoice.
