This is a stunning and characterful example of Thomas Earle Hesketh’s Guaneri del Gesu model from 1935. For the last 23 years it has been beautifully cared for and played on by myself, a professional violinist. It has a rich, characterful and powerful tone, very even across all strings. This violin excelled at everything from scholarships and competition prizes to professional tutti and principal trials in major UK orchestras – this violin deserves to be played and loved.

It has a handsome one piece back with dark, narrow flames. Ribs and head of similar wood. Length of back is 353mm.
