This is a 15 1/4″ (38.7cm) viola made in Germany c.1910, fully set up for professional playing.
The tone of this viola is healthily open/resonant, dark and rich. The response allows you to sink into both the lowest and highest registers nicely. It’s a pleasure to play on!
The neck and fingerboard have been reshaped for good comfort, and the fingerboard has been resurfaced for full life. New heart-model pegs have been fitted. The new bridge is also professional quality, we're very happy with the woodworking and consideration for sound.
This viola is in excellent condition with no crack repairs. This viola comes with an insurance value letter for £4000 (London Market)
