The instrument features a two-piece flamed maple back, well-matched ribs, a finely carved scroll, and warm original varnish with natural patina.
The cello was played professionally in a symphony orchestra and has been regularly maintained by professional luthiers throughout its life. It comes from a family estate and is in stable, fully playable condition, with normal wear consistent with age.
