Marigaux Paris Professional Wooden Oboe – Serial No. 11871

A beautiful Marigaux Paris professional wooden oboe with silver-plated keywork.

This was my own instrument, purchased when I was studying, and the oboe on which I achieved my Grade 8. It has been carefully stored in its case for many years but has not been played during that time.

The wood appears to be in very good condition with no visible cracks, and the keywork appears complete. However, as it has been unused for many years, it is being sold as seen and will require a professional service/overhaul before being played.

This would make an excellent instrument for an advancing student, conservatoire player or musician looking for a quality Marigaux at a fraction of the cost of a new instrument.
