Double Bass Czech Laminate

Made in the Czech Republik possibly 80s or 90s. Very solid reliable bass. The previous owner had a new, thicker ebony fingerboard and bridge fitted with professional adjusters in 2006 by the late great London luthier Roger Dawson which replaced the cheaper fingerboard and bridge that were on before.This considerably improved the power, sustain and playability of the bass which makes it a lot better than this type of laminated bass. It is very easy to play and has a very big sound. It's strung with Thomastik Spirocore which still have a lot of life and growl in them. The bass is loud, punchy and a great option for someone who just wants a gigging bass that's super sturdy and who doesn't want to worry about damaging a more valuable bass. Carbon fibre french bow, bow quiver and bow case included ( no bass case included ).
