Trumpet Teacher
The Royal Guard of Oman is looking for a teacher of Trumpet.
The RGO requires an experienced trumpet teacher to teach musicians from the Muscat Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and Royal Oman Symphony Orchestra.
Prospective candidates should have at least three years of proven teaching experience and, in addition to a thorough familiarity with the requirements of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) exam board amongst others, be comfortable preparing students for the FRSM and entry to music college. This is primarily a position for someone with orchestral playing experience and knowledge of the orchestral repertoire. The trumpet teacher will also be required to coach orchestral sectionals as well as brass ensemble and chamber music.
The RGO offers a tax-free salary, basic health coverage, an allowance towards housing and utilities, 60 days paid leave in the summer, and an annual return-flight to the candidate’s home country.
