University professor for jazz piano (m/w/d)
Your duties
Leading a jazz piano class as part of artistic and artistic-pedagogical training in the Bachelor's and Master's degree programs and, if applicable, supervision of relevant supplementary subjects, in particular subject didactics and teaching practice or ensemble and improvisation.
In addition to teaching courses, the activities of lecturers include the necessary preparation and follow-up activities, event and examination activities, research and administrative activities associated with teaching, participation in committees and the supervision and assessment of final theses.
Regular attendance at the ABU for participation in academic self-administration
Your profile
Conditions of employment:
Outstanding artistic and artistic-pedagogical qualifications on the piano, independent artistic profile, as well as international concert activities and extensive teaching experience
A domestic or equivalent foreign higher education qualification or an equivalent artistic or artistic-scientific aptitude appropriate to the position
Special aptitude for academic work, which is usually demonstrated by the quality of a doctorate, and/or special aptitude for artistic or, if applicable, subject-relevant professional activity
for applicants who do not hold a relevant professorship at a recognized domestic or foreign university, additional special artistic achievements or special achievements in the application/development of scientific knowledge and methods in at least 5 years of professional practice or …
