Professor of classical piano

The professor will lead the piano department at the Academy and head the department’s development, including work on talent development initiatives and activities within the national and international educational pipeline.

The appointed professor must be able to provide education and training of pianists up to the highest level within major subject studies, instrumental pedagogy and chamber music. The professor is expected to carry out artistic research and educational development projects, both on their own initiative and as initiated by the Academy’s management.

For several years, RAMA has focused on digitally supported practices and interpretation as an art form in its own right. The professor is expected to contribute to the continuation of this focus.

RAMA aims to strengthen collaboration across electronic, jazz/pop and classical programmes. The professor is expected to be open to cooperation across all departments.
