Creative Music Animateur (Scottish Opera Education)

Main purpose of the job:

To create an opportunity for a young musician to develop skills in creative learning and facilitation, working across a range of community and schools settings; to shadow and be mentored by highly skilled and experienced creative learning animateurs, as well as key members of staff from the Scottish Opera Music Department; to gain experience of portfolio working in preparation for a career in the creative sector, while developing skills and knowledge of project delivery across our full programme of work, providing an essential backstop to increase staffing resilience across our Scottish Opera Education projects.
