Established in 1983, the Daegu International Vocal Music Competition (DIVMC) has grown from a national event into an internationally recognized vocal competition. The competition is dedicated to fair and transparent adjudication and to fostering artistic exchange with the global opera community.
2026 Schedule
• Application: March 11 – April 12, 2026
• Preliminary Round (video submission): April 16 – 22, 2026
• Semi-Final Round: June 18–19, 2026 – Milan, Italy
• Final Round: August 21, 2026 – Daegu, Korea
Through its international structure and long-standing institutional foundation, the Daegu International Vocal Music Competition continues to support the professional development of young singers while strengthening artistic connections between Europe and Korea.
