The Vienna International Christmas Opera Competition 2026

The Vienna International Christmas Opera Competition celebrates excellence in opera singing and offers a prestigious platform for performers of all voice types to gain international recognition and the chance to perform with the Wiener Stadtorchester.

The Grand Prize winner (€5,000), together with the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prize winners, will have the honor of performing live at the Palais Ehrbar, Grand Concert Hall, Vienna, on December 16, 2026.

Honorable Mentions
Awarded to outstanding participants.

All prize winners will receive a medallion and certificate, as well as a professional photo shoot and audio and video recordings during the concert and award ceremony.
