International Workshop "Evora Cathedral Music School"

- To spread the heritage of Évora Cathedral Music School (sixteenth and seventeenth centuries) - Friar Manuel Cardoso, Duarte Lobo, Diogo Dias Melgaz, Estêvão de Brito, Estêvão Lopes Morago, etc;
- To make people aware of different approaches to this
repertoire;
- To increase vocal techniques and interpretation;
- To create an environment knowledge, cultures and life
experience interchange;
- To create an environment knowledge, cultures and life
experience interchange;
- To highlight the composers from Évora who left Évora for Spain, or were disciples of musicians trained in the cloister of Évora, and went to work in Spain. Among them we have: Estêvão de Brito, Manuel Machado who was a disciple of Duarte Lobo and Manuel Correia, who was a disciple of Filipe de Magalhães, and other composers.
