2026/27 Academy – CELLOS – Summer and Studio

Aimed at all young top-level instrumentalists completing their final studies and looking to acquire an in-depth orchestral experience offering the opportunity of perfecting orchestral technique via a side by side Academy at the Philharmonie de Paris

Summer Academy from 1 to 6 September 2026 included
Musical direction : Klaus Makela - Musical Director, & Olha Dondyk - Lauréate Maestra 2024
Repertoire : Saint-Saens – Symphonie n°3 / Honegger – Symphonie n°3
Recruting : 4 cellos
Accommodation and meals provided, possibility to apply for travel aid.

Studio Academy from January to June 2027 included
5 string laureats will take part in the Orchestre de Paris concert season at the Philharmonie and on tour. Monthly allowance provided
Recruting : 1 cello
Auditions : Successful string applicants for the Summer Academy will be invited to audition at the Philharmonie de Paris
Auditions : First week April 2026 / Possiblity to apply for travel and accommodation aid
