Phion Symphony Orchestra is one of the most innovative and prominent orchestras in the Netherlands. Performing at the highest artistic level, our goal is to reach as many people as possible with live symphonic music through extensive and diverse programming. From large symphonic repertoire to small-scale and intimate productions, popular repertoire to exciting crossovers, and educational productions to new concert formulas at special locations. We continue to innovate and search for new concepts and productions with institutions such as opera, dance and (youth)theatre.

Phion Symphony Orchestra based in Gelderland and Overijssel is operational from two locations: Arnhem and Enschede.

The vacancy is for the position of Tutti 1st Violin.
As a member of our orchestra you will regularly rehearse and perform in Arnhem and Enschede, and perform throughout Gelderland, Overijssel and beyond.

Profile
You are an excellent player with distinguished qualities both in orchestral repertoire and chamber music. You have a professional and flexible work ethic and radiate enthusiasm. Working for Phion is more than playing on stage: we expect our musicians to take part in meetings and be proactive in different ways fitting your own ambitions. We also expect and facilitate our musicians to invest in their professional development.

Candidates who are directly permitted to play in the second round, have to prepare the repertoire of the first round as well. In the second round the order is free
