Assistant Principal Cello

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Boise Phil will be auditioning for a 1-year Assistant Principal Cello position to begin upon successful completion of the audition. A 1-year Section Cello position may also be offered upon successful completion of the audition.

This is a per service position, with 60 guaranteed services (September – May) with a current pay rate of $134.53 per service and compensation for travel up to $175 per concert set for those that qualify. Subject to availability, musicians who qualify for travel compensation will be offered accommodation in the home of a volunteer during concert cycles.
Contracted musicians are expected to fulfill a minimum of 60% of their assigned services which may include but not be limited to symphonic concerts, contracted performances, education activities, and school and family performances.

The terms and conditions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement will govern the total wages and benefits for each musician. The compensation and benefits negotiated in the most current Collective Bargaining Agreement will supersede the compensation listed above.
