unlabeled from Markneukirchen, Germany, c. 150 years old

Unlabeled violoncello. The back is made from one piece of maple with a medium flame descending form bass to treble. The sides and scroll are made from similar maple. The top is made from two pieces of medium-grained spruces. The instrument has double purfling. The varnish is orange-brown in colour. The 'cello is in very good condition.
I have played this instrument for over 15 years- it won me spots in every single Master's program I auditioned for, and has got me through final and trial rounds of multiple orchestral auditions. I have played it in the cello section of many of the top orchestras in the world. It is a great instrument with a powerful sound, I will be sad to say goodbye to it.
