Bromley Youth Music Trust (BYMT) is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Senior Specialist Teacher (Singing) to join our vibrant community. Our current postholder is moving on to the next stage in their career, and we are excited to welcome a new leader who will continue to foster a love for singing among our students and tutors.
BYMT is a thriving musical hub in Bromley, where over 4500 students regularly attend instrumental and vocal lessons in schools. We proudly host 800+ students in our weekly ensembles, which include 3 Student Choirs, 3 Adult Choirs and a thriving Musical Theatre programme among 34 regular ensembles. Our students often continue their musical journeys at university or music college, and we are committed to nurturing their talents and aspirations.
Your Role: As the Senior Specialist Teacher (Singing), you will:
Inspire and enthuse students and vocal tutors.
Teach a range of vocal techniques and styles to students of all levels.
Coach and direct choirs in schools and at BYMT, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
Contribute to our vision of enriching the lives of children, young people, and the wider community through the transformative power of music.
