The Artist Development Specialist is a dynamic music industry professional and inspiring educator who will teach the artist development modules and mentor students in their career development through entrepreneurial activity and creative professional practice.
We are seeking to appoint a passionate and experienced Artist Development Specialist to join our dynamic Popular Music department. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of emerging artists at one of the world’s leading conservatoires.
As part of our Artist Development team, you will deliver our Music Industry, Marketing and Promotion, and Elective modules, and work closely with students to support their professional growth, focusing on building their artistic identity, industry readiness, and entrepreneurial skills, through the application of theoretical perspectives and current critical thinking. You will collaborate with RNCM staff and external industry partners to provide bespoke mentoring, workshops, and real-world opportunities that reflect the evolving music landscape.
We are looking for someone with a strong and extensive network in the music industry, a deep understanding of popular music trends, and experience in mentoring or developing talent. You will be passionate about helping students navigate careers as performers, composers, producers, and creative entrepreneurs.
