When: Saturday mornings/early afternoon in term time, 10 weeks per term in 2026/27, from November 2026

Remuneration: £42.00 per hour, self employed

Guildhall Young Artists Taunton is one of Somerset’s most exciting Saturday performing arts centre offering a range of classes and performance opportunities for 5 to 18-year-olds in music and drama. Based at Wellington School in Wellington, Somerset, young people develop their creativity and access high quality training across a variety of styles and genres.

We seek to appoint an energetic and highly skilled guitar teacher, who is a top practitioner and industry professional, to teach our U18 students, and to ensure that Guildhall Young Artists provides an excellent creative education.

The successful candidate will be committed to developing young students, from a variety of backgrounds, to reach their full potential.

Interviews will take place by arrangement between 29–30 September 2026. If successful at interview, candidates will be invited to attend GYA Taunton on 3 or 10 October 2026 to deliver a 30-minute individual guitar lesson which will be observed.
